Suspended Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox has resigned from his position.
Wilcox, who served as the District Judge in Troy since 2000, was previously charged with more than 30 counts of misconduct by the Pennsylvania Judicial Board.
The Judicial Conduct Board accused Wilcox of having an inappropriate relationship with a defendant in his court and interfering with a court matter.
Wilcox was suspended without pay in November while the investigation into his alleged misconduct was conducted.
Wilcox submitted his letter of resignation to Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Deborah Toss and Gov. Josh Shapiro on March 25th.
Magisterial District Judge Allen Page III is currently covering the Troy District Court.
