Thousands of people enjoyed the 44th annual Owego Strawberry Festival over the weekend.
One highlight of the event was the parade on Saturday morning.
The top float was the Owego Church of the Nazarene. The Julia Zepkowski Memorial float earned second place honors.
Boy Scout Troops 38 and 638 took first place and Hiawatha Soccer earned second-place for the Children’s Organization division.
The 45th annual Strawberry Festival will return to Owego next June.
