Tioga County, Pa. man charged with homicide in domestic dispute

A Tioga County, Pennsylvania man is facing charges after a woman was fatally shot on Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 62-year-old Kenneth J. Boom has been charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and other related crimes.

State troopers responded to a reported shooting on Route 287 in Delmar Township at around 5:20 am on Friday. A 61-year-old woman was found dead at the scene.

Police believe Boom and the victim were involved in a domestic dispute the night before and the shooting occurred a short time later.

Boom was remanded to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
