A Painted Post man was arrested after he allegedly stole from a local restaurant.
According to the New York State Police, 40-year-old Thomas A. Margeson has been charged with fourth degree grand larceny, which is a Class E felony.
Margeson is accused of stealing almost $1,400 worth of items from the Bob Evans in Corning.
The incident allegedly occurred on Monday morning.
All property has since been returned to the restaurant.
Margeson was released with an appearance ticket.
