Chemung County has received $481,797 for New York’s 2026-27 Youth Employment Program. The program will provide paid work and support services for eligible residents ages 14 through 20 from qualifying households, with priority for young people facing additional barriers. CSS Workforce will develop the local plan, and programming is expected to begin within the next several months. The funding period runs through June 30, 2027.
