The Village of Owego Police Department says officers handled 142 calls for service during the week ending Sunday, September 13.
The department’s weekly activity report also lists one motor-vehicle collision, one arrest and nine traffic tickets.
Police say the arrest followed a traffic stop on West Main Street. A 55-year-old Apalachin woman was charged with misdemeanor operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
The woman was issued an appearance ticket directing her to appear later in Village of Owego Court. Police did not report any additional charges or injuries in connection with the stop.
The charge is an allegation. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
