The New York State Police, in conjunction with police from Orlando Florida, have been conducting an investigation into the production, sharing and distribution of child pornography in Broome County, N.Y. and Orange County, Florida.
On Tuesday, April 6th the State Police arrested Christopher Sayre, 27, of Johnson City for felony Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child and Possession of an Obscene Sexual Performance of a Child, a Class E felony.
In addition, Sayre was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice as a result of related criminal charges being filed in the State of Florida.
Sayre was arraigned in the Village of Johnson City Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
