Owego Power Failure Caused by Falling Tree

A wide-reaching power outage in Tioga County yesterday was caused by a large tree that fell on two power lines near an Owego substation. Power was restored by about 5PM. Initially, half the NYSEG customers in all of Tioga County were without power.

Lithium Battery Factory to Open in Endicott
