Tioga deputies report the recent arrest of 35-year-old Eric Shannon of 21 Circle Drive in Waverly. He was charged with harassment with physical contact following a dispute in the town of Barton. He’lll respond to the charge in court March 5th.

A Waverly woman is being the day in jail. Athens Township police report the arrest of 34-year-old Chelsea Cole. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft. Bail set at $10,000.

Mark your calendars now for a program next month that deals with understanding Alzheimer’s and dementia. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 19th. The one hour program begins at 4:30 p.m. that day at Elderwood at Waverly, 37 North Chemung Street.
