On Saturday night, the Endicott Police Department conducted a “special detail” that targeted street level narcotics and quality of life issues in the downtown area of the Village of Endicott.
This detail was a continuation of one conducted three weeks ago, which resulted in several arrests.
This weekend, officers made several Arrests, issued several traffic tickets, and conducted a total of 21 searches as a result of vehicle stops and interdictions.
One of those arrested, Jason Garren, 38, of Endicott was charged with felony tampering with evidence.
Garren attempted to destroy crack cocaine that was later seized from him.
During the detail, Officers seized crack cocaine, marihuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Officers also charged six people with Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Person under the age of 21 years old.
All of the subjects charged were later released pending further court action.
