The Athens Area Education Association has cancelled tonight’s negotiations with the Athens Area School Board. This comes after a three day strike was held by the Education Association in an effort to quicken teacher contract negotiations which have been ongoing since 2013. The next scheduled meeting between the Athens Area School Board and Education Association is May 3rd.
