The Children’s House in Towanda has recently been accredited by the National Children’s Alliance. Accreditation is the National Children’s Alliance’ highest of ten honors it bestows upon child-focused organizations across the nation. The Children’s House in Towanda was bestowed this honor following an in-depth look at all of the services they offer. The Children’s House was started back in April of 1990, to give children a comfortable place to undergo forensic interviews. Since then, the organization has grown to offer many more services, all of which are free of charge.
