After officially being named the Broome County District Attorney-elect on Tuesday, Steve Cornwell has named his choice for chief deputy. Cornwell has chosen to name Michael Korchak of Endicott his chief deputy district attorney. Korchak has previous experience working as assistant district attorney for Bronx County, and senior assistant district attorney for Broome County. Korchak has since been running a private practice in Binghamton.
