Over $8,000 has been awarded to Bradford County to benefit the county’s food and shelter programs. The money was awarded through FEMA and will be given to a local board of representatives to be distributed throughout county programs. Agencies interested in receiving a portion of the federal funding are encouraged to attend a meeting of the Bradford County Board on Wednesday, September 21st at 10am. The meeting is to be held at Futures Community Support Services located on Main Street in Towanda.
