Broome County Executive Elect Jason Garnar has announced that applications are now open for 29 top county government positions. Garnar says that he is encouraging current occupants of these positions to reapply for their jobs, however, automatic rehire is not guaranteed. The County Executive Elect says that the decision will come down to who is most qualified for each position, whether that is the former employee or a new candidate.
