Ithaca Police are investigating the discovery of a dead body in the water near Ithaca Falls. Authorities were called at around 2:30 yesterday afternoon for the discovery of a dead body. Emergency responders worked together to retrieve the body from the water. The cause of death is yet to be determined, until results are received from an autopsy. The name of the victim has not been released. Authorities are still working to notify family members.
