Police in Ithaca are on the lookout for a man they say shot another man Monday night. The suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous. The incident took place near the intersection of South Plain Street and Cleveland Avenue, with reports of multiple shots fired. The victim, whose name has not been released, was reportedly shot twice before being taken to a nearby hospital where he was interviewed by police. He was transferred to a regional trauma center. Police are identifying the suspect as Clinton McBean of Ithaca. Anyone with information on McBean’s whereabouts should call the Ithaca Police Department at 607-272-3245.
