After being convicted of lying to the FBI in July, former senator Tom Libous and dozens of family members and friends wrote to US District Judge Vincent Briccetti asking for leniency as he hands down an official sentencing. Libous and others cite his worsening battle with cancer in their letters to the judge. Libous is scheduled to be handed his sentencing on November 24th.
