Macy’s at the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City is now set to close by the end of this year. The local store closure is just 1 of 68 following what the company is describing as a disappointing holiday season. Macy’s plans on closing stores in phases through 2017. It is unclear which phase the Johnson City Macy’s will close. Approximately 58 jobs are expected to be lost.
