Towanda Borough Police have identified the man who died as a result of a two-car crash on Route 220 in Towanda on Wednesday. 76-year-old Richard Wilcox of New Albany is said to have crossed into the oncoming lane of Route 220 between South Main Street and Patterson Boulevard. Wilcox’ vehicle crossed into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer carrying water. Wilcox was pronounced dead on scene. Authorities are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
