A Troy man has reported to State Police in Towanda that a maple syrup container was stolen from his property. The man says a 275-gallon container he uses to store syrup was taken from a wooded lot where he collects his sap, sometime in the morning of April 21st at his property along Route 514 in the Troy area. He said there is a metal cage around the plastic container, and police ask that anyone with further information contact them at 570-265-2186.
