The Owego-Apalachin School District has won an Award of Merit in this year’s annual New York School Public Relations Association’s communications awards contest. The award comes for the work of a short video entitled “There’s No Place Like Home.” The video told the story of the Owego Elementary school from its destruction in the flood of 2011 to the return of students to a newly built facility in January. The video has been shared on the WEBO facebook page.
