State Police in Pennsylvania say an 89-year-old Bradford County man has been shot during a dispute with another man living at his home on Doane Hill Road in Monroetown. Police have arrested 60-year-old John Petros of Monroetown. At this time they have not identified the victim. Authorities say Petros and the victim got into an argument around 1 o’clock Wednesday morning. Petros is accused of taking out a handgun, at which point there was a struggle, and the 89-year-old man was shot in the groin. Petros was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and reckless endangerment. He was sent to the Bradford County Jail on $75,000 bail.
