The Rome, PA man currently up on charges for phoning in two bomb threats in to the Bradford County Courthouse last year, has been sentenced on an unrelated driving under the influence charge. 49-year-old Tommy Turner is accused of threatening to use a “weapon of mass destruction,” last December. He was originally scheduled to be sentenced on the DUI charge, the same day he made the threatening calls, and said that was his motive for the calls. For the DUI, Turner was sentenced to spend 45-days to six-months in jail, pay prosecution costs, and a $1,000 fine. Turner will have another day in court, on the bomb threats, at a later date.
