A Canton man is behind bars after he allegedly assaulted a state trooper.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 39-year-old Steven A. Hall has been charged with felony aggravated assault following the incident on Wednesday.
Troopers were called to Troy Street for a welfare check on a child. When troopers were talking to the person who reported the incident, Hall was allegedly acting belligerently and trying to approach the person.
When attempting to take Hall into custody, he allegedly began to fight with both troopers. During the incident Hall is accused of kicking the troopers.
He was arrested and taken to the Bradford County Jail.
