Towanda is mourning the loss of Brad Aronson, third-generation owner of Towanda Iron and Metal Works, who passed away peacefully at home on March 2nd, surrounded by his family. Known for transforming the family business and championing community projects like the South Main Street mural, Brad leaves behind a legacy of leadership, kindness, and generosity. He was devoted to both his family and town, with a knack for storytelling, grilling, and bringing people together. In accordance with Brad’s wishes, there will be no immediate services, but a celebration of life is being planned. The family requests donations to the Wysox Fire and Towanda Police Departments.
