PennDOT says the Monroeton Driver License Center is moving from 60 Chiola Lane to 39 Fox Chase Drive in Towanda. The former site closed after business September 12, and the new center is scheduled to open September 17. PennDOT says the larger building has more seating and parking, a larger skills-testing area and is expected to save taxpayers about $30,000 a year in leasing costs.
