Former Bradford County District Attorney Chad Salsman has been released from state prison.
Salsman was released Friday after serving the remainder of his five year sentence.
The former district attorney was arrested in 2021 on allegations that he sexually assaulted five female clients while working in private practice before he was elected district attorney.
Salsman was originally sentenced to 1 1/2 to 5 years in prison for the crimes of promoting prostitution, obstruction of justice and witness intimidation.
He was granted parole in April of 2025, but that was later revoked after he violated terms by possessing a gun.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Salsman with possessing a firearm as a prohibited person following the parole violation.
A pre-trial conference in that case is set for July 20.
