Guthrie Troy Community Hospital and Guthrie Home Health have been honored as among the nation’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2026 by Modern Healthcare magazine. This is the second consecutive yearly recognition for Troy and the first for Home Health, and they are the only entities in the region to earn this distinction in 2026.

The Best Places to Work in Healthcare program uses a two-part assessment to identify leading healthcare employers. This includes a detailed employer assessment examining workplace policies, benefits and practices, along with an employee feedback survey gathering anonymous staff input on leadership, culture, compensation, benefits and overall job satisfaction.

Guthrie Troy Community Hospital and Home Health were recognized for their strong culture of engagement, support and professional growth, as validated by employee feedback. The recognition reflects Guthrie’s commitment to creating an environment where caregivers feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed. Guthrie’s focus on listening to caregiver feedback and translating it into meaningful improvements strengthens both workforce satisfaction and patient outcomes, demonstrating the direct connection between a positive work environment and high-performing healthcare delivery.

Guthrie Troy Community Hospital and Guthrie Home Health will be honored alongside fellow recipients in a special Modern Healthcare magazine publication in October.
