Spotted lanternflies are again active across northeastern Pennsylvania. The state Agriculture Department is asking residents to destroy the invasive insects and their egg masses, check vehicles and outdoor equipment before moving them, and report sightings online or by calling 1-888-4-BAD-FLY. Spotted lanternflies can damage trees, grapevines and other crops.
