Towanda Woman Sentenced to Prison After Burglary and Meth Investigation

A Towanda woman will spend years in state prison for committing multiple crimes last year. According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 37-year-old Harley Jean Shores was sentenced to 3 to 8 years in state prison for burglary, endangering the welfare of children and possession with intent to deliver meth. The burglary charges were brought after Shores broke into The Daily Review building in Towanda. Shores was charged with endangering the welfare of children after her child gained less than one pound in the first month of its life. She was arrested by the Bradford County Drug Task Force after she sold meth to a confidential informant.
