Pennsylvania State Police responded to a domestic disturbance in Monroe Township early Sunday morning. Around 3:50 troopers from Towanda responded to Kent Run Road where they found 28-year-old Patricia Kunkle, unresponsive. She was taken to the Memorial Hospital of Towanda, and pronounced dead. Patricia’s husband, 29-year-old Scott Kunkle, was arrested and charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Scott Kunkle was arraigned and taken to the Bradford County Jail on $50,000 bail. An autopsy was done at Lourdes Hospital on Monday. Police continue to investigate the actual cause of her death.
