Troy School Board to vote on $33 million budget with 4 percent tax increase

The Troy School Board will vote on a budget proposal with a four percent tax increase later this month.

The district proposed a $33 million dollar spending plan with a planned deficit of just over $959,000.

The tax increase would push the millage rate from 47.5 to 49.4.

The proposed budget is currently up for review at troyareasd.org.

The final budget vote will take place during the next school board meeting at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 23.
