The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Waverly woman for felony Grand Larceny in the theft of about $8,000 from the Sears Department Store at the Arnot Mall. 30-year-old Alisha R. Talmage was employed as an office associate at the store. An investigation determined that she had stolen the funds in cash between November 2017 and March 2018. Talmage will appear in the Town of Big Flats Court at a later date.
