A meth lab has been discovered inside an Elmira home. On Tuesday morning, Elmira Police reported to a disturbance at a home on Harmon Street around 8 am. They immediately suspected that there was a meth lab within the home and called in reinforcements. The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team responded and conducted a joint investigation with Elmira Police, and they arrested Michael Harris. Harris has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and is being held by police, until he can be arraigned.
