The Elmira Pioneers announced plans to continue upgrades at city-owned Dunn Field, and also announced a license extension with Elmira that runs through the year 2021. The team says that one of the main upgrades coming to Dunn Field will be new box seats, which will be larger, and installed in time for the Pioneers’ home opener on June 6th. A new sound system and a refurbished visitors’ locker room is also on the list of improvements. Team officials say that the Pioneers’ ownership has already invested over $120,000 into Dunn Field.
