Elmira Police have released new details on an armed robbery they said took place yesterday in the city. Police said they responded to West Gray Street. The initial report was a person with a gunshot wound. Police later determined it was an armed robbery. A man was robbed of a cell phone by three suspects, one of the suspects displayed what appeared to be a handgun. The three then fled the scene. An airsoft gun was later recovered. No one was injured.
