The First Arena will soon have something new on tap for its sports fans and visitors all year-round. Two local brewmasters have teamed up with arena management to bring a brewpub to the first floor. The idea is to have a beer garden on the building’s Gray Street side. Then visitors can walk inside for more drinks and food. Pub owners will feature wines from different areas. Six beers will be on tap. Some minor details are being worked out but construction is set to begin by the end of this week. Management expects the brewpub to be open by late fall, or early winter.
