The Sayre teenager that left her seven-month-old baby in a plastic bag in Elmira has entered a guilty plea.17-year-old Harriette Hoyt entered the plea on the charge of Attempted Murder in return for a nine year jail sentence with five years of post-release supervision. The baby is believed to have been abandoned three days prior to her discovery by neighbors. The baby has been placed into foster care. Hoyt will be officially sentenced in January.
