The main suspect in the death of a young Elmira man last summer has pleaded guilty to manslaughter. 20-year-old Jerell Rollins admits he shot and killed 20-year-old Randy Brooks near the East Gate Apartment Complex on July 5th. Rollins was originally charged with second degree murder, but pleaded to the lesser charge of first degree manslaughter. His sentencing is scheduled for April 1st.
