Shots were fired during an overnight burglary attempt in Elmira. The incident happened just before 2 o’clock Tuesday morning on the 400 block of Linden Place. Some of the items taken during the robbery were recovered in the area. No arrests have been made at this point. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Elmira Police at 737-5610.
