Two people are in custody after witnesses heard shots fired on Elmira’s East side. Elmira Police are now questioning two men after neighbors heard shots fired on the 800 block of East Water Street. The calls came in after 10 last night. Police began investigating and questioning neighbors. The investigation continues. We will continue to bring you more information as it becomes available.
