The New York State Police conducted an investigation into a suspected Methamphetamine manufacturing site in Millport, Chemung County. Investigators seized approximately three ounces of suspected methamphetamine oil, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine manufacturing materials and chemicals. 38-year-old Martin Best and 31-year-old Melissa Fisher, both of Millport, was arrested and charged with felony Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine and misdemeanor Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Both were arraigned in Town of Horseheads Court and both were remanded to the Chemung County Jail. Bail was set for Best at $5,000; bail for Fisher was set at $2,500.
