The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left one person hospitalized last week.
According to police, the incident occurred on the 300 block of Elmira Road at around 1:20 a.m. on Thursday.
One victim was found with stab wounds to the hip and back. Officers provided first aid on scene before the victim was transported to a local trauma center, where they were listed in stable condition.
The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
