A man who is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and Germany was recently acquitted of two felony rape charges in Yates County Court.
Thomas Plan was found not guilty of the charges following a week-long jury trial last month.
Plan was arrested on Aug. 15, 2025 and charged with rape in the first and third degrees. The charges were related to an alleged incident in 2024.
The jury deliberated for a short time before returning the not guilty verdicts.
