The third annual Orlando Josiah Memorial 5K is set for this weekend in Horseheads.
The event is held in honor of Orlando Josiah Vargas, who passed away on June 27, 2023, just before his sixth birthday.
Each year, the Vargas family holds a memorial 5K in their son’s memory with proceeds going to a scholarship for a student graduating from Horseheads High School.
The third annual Orlando Josiah Memorial 5K will be held at 8:30 am on Saturday at Thorne Street Park.
