A three-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Route 17 Eastbound in the area of Lindsey Lawn & Garden in Apalachin just before 8am today. The Apalachin Fire Department responded to the scene and transported one person as a precaution. Traffic was detoured onto Route 434 for a short time while the accident was cleared and the highway reopened about 30 minutes later. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
