Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that Fairview Recovery Services in Binghamton will now be receiving $350,000 in state funding, annually. Fairview Recovery Services is one of five addiction and substance abuse treatment centers recently awarded this state funding. The other four centers are located in other regions across New York. Senator Fred Akshar released a statement applauding the Governor and also added, quote “I’m confident that Fairview Recovery Services will put these resources to good use and provide more quality recovery and treatment services for those in our community who so desperately need it.”
