State Police out of Ithaca arrested an Odessa man on Wednesday after an investigation into a robbery at a gas station near the mall in Lansing. 30-year-old Michael Robinson was charged with one count of robbery in the third degree, a Class D felony. He is accused of robbing the Tops Friendly Market Gas Station on North Triphammer Road last Wednesday. Robinson was arraigned and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in court next month. State Police were assisted by the Tompkins County and Schuyler County Sheriff’s Departments.
