A several month long investigation conducted by a special crimes unit in Pennsylvania has led to the recent arrest of 37 people across three counties in the Northern Tier. The Mobile Street Crimes Unit just concluded their “Operation Northern Tier Takedown.” The operation yielded the confiscation of various drugs including heroin, methamphetamine, bath salts, marijuana, prescription drugs among others. The Mobile Street Crimes Unit is an agency which was set up in 2013 by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office to combat drug trafficking and gang-related crimes.
